Alden finishes kindergarten in one week. Every morning we walk to the bus stop, he with his book bag, me with my coffee. The stop is less than 100 yards from our place, so it’s a pretty short trek. We talk about everything from God (Deuteronomy 6:4-9) to Star Wars to David Crowder (he’s a fan) to what we’re going to do that evening. I’m sure we’ll keep talking next year during similar walks, but I woke up this morning and changed the routine slightly by grabbing my camera, freezing the moment.
